Rating: Borderline of Wasted and Blackout

Reasons: For starters, when you walk into Redz, there are no Affliction t-shirts... Bonus! They only serve beer, hence the lower than blackout rating (It would take way too much beer to get me blackout). The atmosphere is pretty standard: a couple pool tables and a "jukebox".. The best part is I walked out of there with a tab of only $13.00.. Can't complain about that!

In Conclusion... Redz is a breath of fresh air in Huntington Beach... no douches fist pumping.. no girls in too much makeup and patent pumps (okay maybe a couple).. Just a nice place to hang out with friends with some beers!

Legends Sports Bar in Long Beach

Rating: Wasted
Reasons: Apart from the fact that Legends has fair prices and a douche-free atmosphere, it also features a 326 inch HD projection screen, and "Towers" that are novelty pitchers that hold around 6 beers for about $14.. They also have bartender choice drinks for about $5 (usually Jager bombs or Premium Shots).. So you leave there warm and happy (unless your team lost the game).

 


 

An explanation of my scale!

First off, I would like to say WELCOME to my blog! If you are here, you most likely enjoy an adult beverage (or eight) every once in a while and would like to know about the bars I have rated!

The way this works is I visit a bar, and then I rate said bar. I will use my own 5 tier scaling system in order to let you know a few things: How drunk I got, how cheap (or expensive) it was, and the overall atmosphere.

 So, about that scale... Here is the breakdown:

Sober - The worst rating I can give.. I walked out of the bar broke, or even worse, SOBER!

Buzzed - A step up from the sober rating, but still below average.

Drunk - The bar had some positives and negatives, but at least I had fun.

Wasted - The bar was most likely fun or cheap.. or both!

Blackout - The almighty rating... I can't remember anything after that..
